How is this camp different then other camps?
Traditionally wrestling camps come in 2 basic forms. They are either technique camps or intensive training camps. Technique camps traditional are low intensity and show generally and overwhelming amount of technique. That technique is also geared to intermediate and or beginners. For elite wrestlers this tends to miss the mark. In your intensive camps you focus on training and being pushed to the limit. In a day and age where national and regional events dominate the landscape, wrestlers often can not fit this type of camp in.
The Clinch Gear 5 Star Camp takes a different approach. First off this camp is designed to prepare wrestlers for their future. From a technical standpoint the technique will be very specific and focused on college and higher level techniques. It is about quality not quantity. You will also learn peak performance and what it means to your wrestling. You will learn it and be prepared to implement it. You will learn about the next level, what to expect, how to pick the best school for you, what questions you should ask and more. Finally, you be evaluated in all aspect of being an athlete. The evaluation will serve as a tool for you to improve your own wrestling. Parents will also have the opportunity to attend a seminar on recruiting and have any questions they have answered.
